Fish and Ships Festival 2020, Whitby

News and Events, Places to Visit, Things to Do

The community “Fish and Ships Festival” returns to Whitby on the 16th and 17th of May 2020 – celebrating the Yorkshire Coast’s maritime heritage with fish markets, cookery demonstrations, boat yard visits amongst other things.  Whitby is a great place to visit, whether that’s to find out more about Dracula, visit the Abbey or go surfing on the beach.

Whitby and the “Fish and Ships Festival” is less than an hour away from our five self catering holiday rental cottages on the edge of the North York Moors.  We make an excellent base for a multi activity holiday in Yorkshire.  Whether that is spending a day exploring the foodie delights of Malton, exploring the North York Moors or having a day at the beach in one of the many seaside towns that Yorkshire has to offer.  Why not find out more?
