The Malton Food Lovers Festival returns to the market town of  Malton in 2020 for three days on Saturday 23rd, Sunday 24th & Monday 25th May 2020 – the Spring Bank Holiday weekend. This annual food festival, which is now in its 12th year, offers over 160 market stalls and food vendors and a has a variety of free to attend food demonstrations from celebrity chefs and cooks, along with book signings amongst things.  Visit https://www.visitmalton.com/food-festival-yorkshire for more information.

Aside from cookery demonstrations and gastronomic shopping opportunities, the festival also offers live music, buskers, face painting and a picnic area to eat everything that you’ve bought!

Throughout the event there are multiple park and ride car parks around the town, offering a bus in to Malton every 15 minutes.  (Or you could just walk, which takes about 10 minutes)

Malton and the Food Lovers Festival is only 22 minutes away from our five self catering holiday rental cottages on the edge of the North York Moors.  We make an excellent base for a multi activity holiday in Yorkshire.  Whether that is spending a day exploring the foodie delights of Malton, exploring the North York Moors or having a day at the beach in one of the many seaside towns that Yorkshire has to offer.  Why not find out more?
