OUR SELF CATERING COTTAGES
IN THE VALE OF PICKERING
A VERY WARM WELCOME TO OUR
NEW YORKSHIRE HOME
We will have 5 self catering cottages, some are cosy 2 person cottages, others have three bedrooms and can sleep 6 and are more suited to family groups (or couples that like a room each and one spare!).
All of this is set within 2 acres of gardens, some of which we hope to set to meadow to help the local wildlife and some we hope will earn its keep by becoming a kitchen garden. Elswehere we will have a games room along with communal clothes washing and drying facilities.
York isn’t very far away, you can either drive or park up and take advantage of the hourly train service from Malton. Nearby and inland by there are the attractions of Flamingoland, Eden Camp and Castle Howard.
A perfect day trip is to be had on the North Yorkshire Moors Railway, which can coupled with some time in the market town of Pickering. To the east there is the beautiful Yorkshire Coast with the seaside towns of Bridlington, Scarborough and Whitby all close at hand – all offer something to do throughout the year. For the more active there are many cycling and mountain biking trails in Dalby Forest – we hope to be able offer as part of renovations lockable storage for bikes along with wash facilities.
