Originally a space to store fruit, this has also been in the past a childrens playroom. Now Pear Loft is redecorated and part refurbished as a romantic self catering getaway with exposed oak beams. Pear Loft comprises a double bedroom, complete with chandelier, a comfortable sitting room with TV and DVD player and a spacious fully fitted kitchen with dining area and views over the garden. There is also a small bathroom with shower over the bath.
Spend time in our 2 acres acres of grounds, exploring our lavender lined path to our Orangery or explore our own private woodland.
Each of our cottages comes with route cards for local walks, a map, nature guides and binoculars so that guests can get the most out of their stay at Cliff House Holiday Cottages.
Pear Loft welcomes one well behaved dog and shares an enclosed garden space with Apple Cottage.

Idyllic setting with beautiful gardens. Suitable for young children with a lovely warm pool. The owners are very friendly and welcoming. They live on site. Close to the beach, Dalby Forest and the trains at Pickering – ESTHER
We had a wonderful week staying here. Our daughter, SIL and two granddaughters in one cottage and we two in another. The pool was the centre of our holiday twice a day … the granddaughters absolutely loved it. The timed allocations worked perfectly for us. The rooms were lovely and clean with everything you’d need to self cater and then some – NORMAN

We are also very handy for such attractions as Flamingoland near Pickering and the Alpamare waterpark in Scarborough. For more information on what to see and do, please visit our “What’s On” page.
York isn’t very far away, you can either drive or park up and take advantage of the hourly train service from Malton.
A perfect day trip is to be had on the North Yorkshire Moors Railway, which can coupled with some time in the market town of Pickering.
