POOL TRAINING

Our indoor heated swimming pool is for the exclusive use of our guests and we don’t allow large inflatables. That said, we couldn’t say no to our local mountain rescue team – Scarborough and Ryedale Mountain Rescue Team who needed access to a pool to try out their equipment.  Members of the team came on site last week to test one of their vital pieces of equipment

This year (2021) the Scarborough and Ryedale Mountain Rescue Team have had their busiest year ever since they were formed back in the 1960’s. Not only do they help injured and lost walkers and mountain bikers, they were key in the efforts to help the local community in nearby Malton when the River Derwent recently broke its banks.  You can donate to the team here.
