Walking Breaks at Cliff House

Things to Do

walking break, walking holiday, walking friendly, walkers, hiking, rambling

Take advantage of the quiet times between the school holidays and book a walking break at Cliff House Holiday Cottages to go and explore North Yorkshire on foot!

We have a number of walks direct from the front door of our cottages that take you in to nearby Dalby Forest, or with a short drive you can be striding out along the edge of the Hole of Horcum which legend tells was made by a giant! Or drive to the fabulous Yorkshire Coast and walk between fishing villages or walk along long sandy beaches.

Each of our cottages comes with a local map, suggested walks and binoculars for your to use during your stay. We are also dog friendly, so no need to find kennels for your furry friend.  Making Cliff House an ideal base for your walking break.  To add to walking holiday we have a number of suggested routes on our website.

Added to that, as we live at Cliff House we are usually always on hand to give advice as to walks, also places to visit and places to eat. And if if that’s not enough, we have a local pub just three minutes walk away that serves hearty food.
